Merry Christmas To All

Filed Under (CPC, Finances, Profitable Campaign Examples) by Ross on 19-12-2008

I’ve tossed up a Christmas theme as I’m a fairly festive person and I just wanted to say Merry Christmas to all of you. Christmas can be a troubling time for alot of people financially (Hell, I remember buying peoples presents at the dollar store a couple years in a row) and so I wanted to remind everyone that the profitable facebook campaign I posted a while back is still going strong on Maxbounty. Feel free to try it out if you have not yet!

Also, I don’t think I’ll have the opportunity to post much in the coming weeks due to the holiday season so here are a few blogs that I have frequented to keep you well read over the holidays!

1) Bryn.Me - Bryn odly enough lives only a couple of blocks away from me and does some good work with Facebook Social Ads. He’s been on ClickConsultants Radio Show a couple of times now answering questions for the curious.

2)Neilsweb.com - He touches on pretty much everything about affiliate marketing. I read his blog purely because he points people in the right direction as to what they should be reading. Look out for Zac’s advertising link on his page though - don’t get caught clicking through to the king of cluelessness.

3) Madppc.com - Brad likes to talk and I like to hear him ramble.

Another Facebook Social Ads Profitable Campaign

So a number of you have hit me up on AIM requesting I post more profitable campaign examples. Although I definately can agree that seeing a profitable campaign and analyzing why it works is useful, you need to keep in mind I’m getting nothing in return for giving away my bread and butter.

The previous campaign I posted here, about 10 people (that I know of) ran it - most making over $1,000 off of it. If all 10 people did $1,000 - that pretty much means I gave away $10,000. What a nice guy I am eh?

Campaign Details

Campaign Name: Ipsos - Italy

Advertising Medium: Facebook

Average ROI: 250%

Affiliate Network: MAXBounty

This campaign has had a rediculous ROI for me since I started running it. I’m mostly giving it away because I don’t run it anymore due to the fact that Maxbounty hasn’t set me up on weeklys and I don’t like waiting more than a week to see my money (let that be a lesson to all you aff networks out there).

While I’m giving away a profitable campaign, I am only going to post the ad I use and not my landing page. I feel that this will help everyone to learning more than just plagerizing my work. I have given plenty of examples of how to make successful landing pages for the Facebook audiance, so just look back and take the advice.

I was to lazy to take a screenshot of my ad, so I just posted the text and image. This ad peaked at around a 0.90 CTR which gave $0.02 clicks (hence the massive ROI).

Good luck with the campaign. Feel free to sign up using my aff link if you feel so inclinded.

A Profitable Facebook Campaign Example

Campaign Details

Campaign Name: Ipsos - Mexico

Advertising Medium: Facebook

Average ROI: 50%

Affiliate Network: MAXBounty

This campaign has been making me money for a few months now, however it’s ROI is lower than the rest of my campaigns and the money I spend into it could be better put elsewhere. This is a great example for all the people interested in getting into affiliate marketing to make some money and see how it’s done.

Your first step towards setting up the campaign is to first gain access to it by signing up at MAXBounty (click here). It can take a day or two to get approved for the network, so don’t fret if you don’t get a phone call right away. You can generally speed up the process by calling their office for approval if you sign up during regular business hours.

Well you are waiting for approval, get your Facebook account up and running. If you have never advertised on Facebook before you are in luck! Facebook is pretty much giving away free coupons for advertising. All you have to do is sign up for a facebook account and then visit Nick Larson’s Blog for the coupon codes. He has a total of $200 worth! With this campaign you can turn that $200 into $300 in a single day.

One you have access to the offer create your landing page consisting of one of the banners available for the campaign. I personally used the 500×500 one. Please note that I used a banner for my LP due to laziness. A professional landing page will help you convert this offer even better. My next post will be on this very topic.

Alright so now you have access to the offer, you have a facebook account AND you have your LP up. It’s time to get your ad up! Here is one of the ad’s I have been running:

Ipsos Mex

Text Version:

“Mexicanos”

“Su opinión nos interesa. Complete las encuestas online. ¡Puede ganar un cheque de Accor Compliments valorado en 3.000 pesos!”

While I was running Ipsos with this ad it had a 0.36 CTR which allowed me to get $0.04 clicks. This campaign doesn’t have a high convertion ratio, but since clicks are so cheap, who cares!

Time to make profit! Once your ad is approved make sure you lower your CPC so you aren’t overpaying for traffic. Remember, this campaign is only profitable with CHEAP clicks.

Good luck to you all!
